Our mission is to work with families to nurture, expand, and encourage faith formation in the children of St. Andrew.
We serve with our incredible children’s ministry volunteers to provide creative weekly church school lessons and to build community among our volunteers for spiritual nourishment and for sharing of ideas and experiences.
The summer mailing contains information from ministries with offerings for families with children ages birth through sixth grade. Take your time to read each piece and prayerfully consider where you and your
child(ren) can “plug in” at St. Andrew this summer.

Church School
Church School at St. Andrew and St. Andrew West is offered each weekend, September through May, at all worship hours, except Live Wire. Church School is for all children, ages 3 through 6th grade.
3 year olds through 6th Grade Curriculum
We are using Augsburg Fortress curriculum, “AKALOO” (which means: to follow). Everyone is united behind a single theme: We are called to follow Jesus.
There are five themes for the year; Discovering the Bible, Experiencing God, Becoming a Disciple, Celebrating Church, Embracing the World. Each theme will last 4-5 weeks as we dive deeper into Bible Stories related to the themes.
