From North of I-694:
Make your way to I-494 and go south on I-494. Take Valley View Road exit and go west (right). Go about 1 mile and turn left at Prairie Center Drive (Home Depot is on the right). Cross over Highway 5 and at the Ruby Tuesday Restaurant, turn right onto Technology Drive. The church is down the road just past the transit station on your right.
From the Northeast:
Make your way to US-169 and travel south. Take the 62W / US-212 W exit. Immediately move to the far left lane which is US-212W. US-212 then exits off to the right, but you want to remain in the left lane where 212 becomes MN-5 west. Travel west on MN-5, go under I-494 and take the next exit which is Prairie Center Drive. Take that exit and at the top of the ramp, turn right onto Prairie Center Drive. At the Ruby Tuesday Restaurant, turn right onto Technology Drive. The church is down the road just past the transit station on your right.
From the East (St. Paul) and South (Burnsville):
Make your way to I-494 and travel west through Bloomington. I-494 turns north once you cross US-169. Take the MN-5 West cloverleaf and remain in right lane. The first exit you come to is Prairie Center Drive. Take that exit and at the top of the ramp, turn right onto Prairie Center Drive. At the Ruby Tuesday Restaurant, turn right onto Technology Drive. The church is down the road just past the transit station on your right.
From the West:
Travel east on MN-312 for 8 miles as it merges onto MN-5. Take the Prairie Center Drive exit and turn right. Take the next right onto Technology Drive and go past the transit station on your right. The church is about a half mile down on the right hand side.
From Minneapolis:
Make your way to I-35W and travel south. Take Hwy 62 West. Move to the far left lane which becomes US-212W. US-212 then exits off to the right just past Shady Oak Rd, but you want to remain in the left lane where 212 becomes MN-5 west. Travel west on MN-5, go under I-494 and take the next exit which is Prairie Center Drive. Take that exit and at the top of the ramp, turn right onto Prairie Center Drive. At the Ruby Tuesday Restaurant, turn right onto Technology Drive. The church is down the road just past the transit station on your right.

From MN−5 and I−494 travel west on MN−5 for about 1.4 miles, merges into MN−312 W (follow signs for County Hwy−4/MN−312). Travel MN−312 for 8.2 miles and exit at MN−41/Chestnut St. Take a right on N Chestnut St/MN−41, heading north for .2 miles. At next light turn left onto Hundertmark Rd. The church is .4 miles ahead on the right. The only entrance is BEFORE the church building, so watch closely for it on the left.
Directions to Spirit in the Pines Camp, Hackensack, Minnesota
From Interstates 494 and 694, travel north on I-94 for 38 miles.
Take Exit # 178/Mn Hwy 24 North (Clear Lake/Clearwater) and turn right (north).
Travel 3.8 miles to Highway 10 and turn left (west).
Travel 43 miles on Highway 10 west, through Little Falls to Hwy 371 north through Brainerd for 24 miles (not business route).
Stay on Highway 371 for 5 miles through Nisswa, 6 miles to Peqout Lakes, 4 miles to Jenkins and 5 miles to Pine River and 10 miles to Backus.
Once you hit Backus (if you blink you'll miss it), travel 4.2 miles to County Road 45, a.k.a. Pleasant Lake Road. Turn right on C.R. 45 and go 2.3 miles. Spirit in the Pines Camp is on the left side.
Without unusual traffic and one short stop, the trip from Eden Prairie is about three hours.

We held the organization service with 67 confirmed members and 112 baptized members. The first Church Council consisted of six members including: Robert Warren, Larry Anderson, Tim Olcott, Robert Danielson, Harold Rasmussen and Doris Johnson. |

Pastor Rod Anderson was installed and the first confirmation class was confirmed. |

St. Andrew was welcomed into the Minnesota Synod and the Lutheran Church in America at the synod Convention at Gustavus Adolphus College. |

The building project was finished and the congregation held its first Palm Sunday parade, complete with donkey, walking from Forest Hills School to the new church. |

The new church building at the corner of Mitchell Road and Valley View Road was dedicated, at which time the congregation had grown to 337 confirmed members. |

The congregation grew to over 1,400 members. It had become obvious during this time that the existing building was too small to serve this growing congregation. |

A new building committee was formed and ground was broken for a 13,700 square foot addition to the church |

St. Andrew's limits for ministry in the existing site were maximized by adding a fourth service and expanding the parking lot on the adjacent land which was affectionately called the "hill and the hole". |

St. Andrew authorized the purchase of the MTS/Anderson Farm Site which would serve as the new location for St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The site was the result of a unique corporate/church partnership. St. Andrew would purchase 5 acres from the MTS Corporation for our new building and share parking lots and maintenance with MTS. |

St. Andrew called Pastor Paul Hammarberg as Congregational Life Pastor. |

We held our first service at the new MTS/Anderson farm site on a very cold Christmas Eve and Christmas Day where about 65 people gathered for each service at the manger in the barn. |

Antioch Christian Fellowship purchased the property on Mitchell Road. The church staff moved to temporary offices on Commerce Way while worship services were held at the Eden Prairie High School and Education Center. |

Site Blessing and Groundbreaking for "phase I" of the new church building took place. |
| Mother's Day, 1994 |
St. Andrew had its first worship services at the "2nd" new site. |

The new church on Technology Drive was dedicated. Synod Bishop David Olson and ELCA Bishop Herbert Chilstrom attended. The building included a sanctuary which seated 650 worshipers, a large two-story multi-purpose room, and office and classroom space. We also expanded our Early Childhood ministries to include a licensed childcare program. |

St. Andrew voted to purchase 30 acres on Pleasant Lake in Hackensack, Minnesota, to use as our church camp. A 5–year Long Range Camp Development Plan was drafted giving us a clear vision for our camping ministry at SPIRIT in the PINES Camp. |

After six years at St. Andrew, Pastor Melanie Heiuser Hill resigned her position as Teaching Pastor at St. Andrew. |

Since you are choosing to get married in a Christian church your wedding ceremony will be a worship service and the primary focus will be on God. The pastors, musicians, and other members of our faith community will assist you in preparation for this event.
To help you grow in faith and strengthen your relationship with each other as you begin your married life we have a required pre-marriage ministry that includes pre-marriage counseling. We also expect that you will worship with us regularly and covenant to work with each other and the church in this pre-marriage process.
